Today is my FAVORITE day of the week

SHOESDAY TUESDAY! Say it with me Sassy Ladies, Shoesday Tuesday!

This week I want to talk about Mr. Christian Louboutin. This man has won my heart. I don't think there is a shoe he has designed that I don't like, seriously. You see, what I like most about Christian Louboutin is the sleek, classy, lady like, sassy style. They are mostly the same style shoe, but with different variations in color, print, studs, and now spikes. The colorful spikes remind me of the candy we used to eat as kids on that white sheet of paper, like little dots, I know, that was random, but that is what they look like to me.

Anywho, so of course I could not pick my favorite Fall/Winter 2014 shoe for this Shoesday Tuesday. And I could have easily held on and spread them across a couple of Tuesday's. But I wanted you ladies to fall in love just like I did over this collection. And because I love you all so much, I included some of the handbags too. And guys just in case you are reading my blog with your boo, I included a couple of pair of the men's shoes that I liked also.

I'm baaaaack!

Wow, it has been a looooong time since I posted,  I hadn't realized how long it has been. I must say that I have missed sharing my love for fashion with you all. During my time away from blogging I have learned a lot about myself, my passion in life, listening to my heart, and following my "instincts". I have been listening to my pastor, Pastor Charles Polk Sr.,  Bishop T.D. Jakes, Joel Osten, and anyone who has spoken an encouraging word, and I know that what is in me is going to prosper.

 I am so excited right now, I am in the process of creating a business in the fashion industry, of course focusing on shoes! With that said, I don't know at this time if I will be posting everyday, but of course I have to bring you all a "Shoesday Tuesday", which has always been my favorite day of the week. But I do know this, I want to share my business journey with you all.

Shoesday Tuesday

Today is my favorite day, for two reasons! First, because it is Shoesday Tuesday! Second, today is a bad weather day in MS, so I am off work, yes, yes,yes! Today is a great day.

I am at home, chillin' in my favorite house shoes. I bought these Mickey Mouse house shoes when I was in college. We had a Disney store in the mall in Ridgeland. When the Disney store I was here, I went to the mall just to go to that store, I was in Mickey Mouse heaven.

Whenever I have a chance to be at home and just chill, you will always find me in my Mickey Mouse house shoes, and a pair of my many, Mickey Mouse lounge wear. When I am in my Mickey, I am relaxed and there is no moving me from the couch or out of my house.

Sassy Invitations

My best friend, Sheila Lyons, has been praying for guidance in her choices and to what she has been called to do. Recently she was released from her position at work, but she has stayed prayerful that God is in control. She is a very talented lady, with a kind heart, and self-less.

Her heart has been tugged to do something she and I have talked about on numerous occasions, personal handwritten invitations. Her handwriting is amazing! She has done personalized invitations for her daughter's wedding, and a couple of her work study students weddings. This is a natural, effortless talent for her, and most of all she enjoys doing it.

Shoesday Tuesday

Today is my favorite day of the week! Shoesday Tuesday!

Today's shoes are a gift from my sister Samanda, and of course there is a story behind these beautiful pumps.

My sister is going to be a bridesmaid soon so she had to purchase these shoes for the wedding. Well after all the bridemaids bought their shoes they went to the wedding location to practice walking in the shoes, and this is a great idea for all future brides and bridesmaids. Well one of the young ladies slipped and fell while walking down the aisle, the bride immediately changed her mind about the shoes and told the bridesmaid they could pick out another pair of shoes for the wedding because she did not need nor want a lawsuit on her hands. And hence I was gifted with these pumps. And can't wait to wear them.  I'm not sure yet what outfit I will pair these with, which is okay with me, I don't mind shopping for a new outfit!

Sassy Nails

This week I polished my nails in support of the Denver Broncos in hope that they would win the Super Bowl. But as we all know, they didn't,  so unfortunately my nails will be reping them all week. Celestial, by Pure Ice, is one of favorite nail polish colors, because it is blue, and blue is my favorite color, all shades if blue! So, how do you like my sassy nails this week?

Shoesday Tuesday/ Snowday

It's my favorite day of the week, Shoesday Tuesday! And a bonus snow day in MS. In this part of the country we don't get a chance to see snow, so when we get one inch of snow everything shuts down! I'm not really mad about missing work today because I can watch as many fashion shows as I want on www.wwd. com

Oh, I forgot to share some great news with you all. A couple of months ago I entered a raffle on DSW Facebook page to win a "I am a Shoe Lover" tag. Well, I received an email a week or two ago that I had won the tag, but by this time I had forgotten all about it, but I held on to the email because I was hoping it was not a hoax or anything. And sure enough I got my tag in the mail this past Saturday! Excited is an understatment of what I felt when I saw that tag from DSW! I can't wait to put it on my car. A big thank you to DSW!

So, on to my shoe picks this week. These shoes are also on my Just Fab wish list. Although I am getting spring fever, I like these pumps because they pair well with any outfit from day to night.
